The Lezyne Tech Drive HP is a sculpted CNC machined high pressure hand pump. The handle, barrel and shaft are made of aluminium with Composite Matrix end caps. The HP pump design easily inflates tires to riding pressure with fewer strokes. The overlapping handle and barrel are integrated into a compact design. It comes equipped with Lezyne's ABS Flex Hose, which has a threaded Presta connection with ABS on one side and a threaded Schrader connection on the other.
MEDIUM: 216mm | 100g
MAX: 120psi | 8.3bar
Air Bleed System (ABS) takes the most secure valve connection known and adds a pressure release button making our Flip-Thread Chuck, Flex Hoses easier to use than ever before. ABS is only featured on genuine Lezyne products. ABS is patent pending worldwide.
The reversible Presta/Schrader ABS Flex Hose combines the threaded security of the Lezyne Flex Hose with the Air Bleed System (ABS). The hose threads securely onto valve heads for an air-tight seal and prevents valve damage during inflation. When using Presta valves, ABS allows users to release the air pressure in the pump hose making it easy to remove it from the valve and eliminating the chance of unthreading removable Presta valve cores after inflation. When using Schrader valves, ABS allows users to adjust tire pressure.
A beautifully-engineered and highly-efficient mini-pump, with some clever features and a fair price tag
The HP stands for 'High Pressure' and the Tech Drive does exactly that: it gets your tyres up to high pressure, in an impressively short time for a mini-pump
Lezyne may well be a market leader now but the brand was only launched in 2007! Lezyne is the brainchild of Micki Kozuschek a successful cycling industry engineer and business man who has a passion for making outstanding products. After selling his successful Truvativ cycling components brand to SRAM he took a break from the cycling industry. However his active mind meant this didn't last long! Micki started looking into other areas of the cycling market. Whilst researching cycling accessories he realized that little innovation was occurring and whilst we cyclists could buy beautifully crafted bars, pedals, frames and wheels, if we wanted a pump, tool or tyre lever then the offering was pretty stale. This lead Micki to start Lezyne with the following ethos at it's core; treat cycling accessories with as much attention to detail as performance cycling components have always enjoyed. This drive and passion means Lezyne has taken the market by storm.
To produce the best Lezyne focused on innovation, engineering, aesthetics and the use of quality materials such as machined aluminium, high quality composites, carbon fibre and titanium. These materials had never been used before in cycling accessories and they were put to great use by the Lezyne engineers and designers to deliver performance products at very low weights, oh and they also looked gorgeous and worked seamlessly.
If you own a Lezyne pump, tool, tyre lever or patch kit you just want to fiddle with it because they are just so well made! Do you think we like Lezyne? It's pretty obvious why ;-)
